EastEnders Star On Mick And Belinda Affair

Carli Norris who plays Belinda Peacock, denied rumours that Belinda and Mick would have an affair. Gossip is rife on social media after Kellie Bright, who plays Linda Carter, revealed that she is pregnant and taking time out from the show.

She told  Inside Soap: "I don't think she would ever manage to tempt him away from Linda. Mick and Linda are so besotted with each other, they're the ideal couple.

"And I think that's probably why Belinda likes him, actually, because she never had that with her husband Neville and it's all she's ever wanted.

"So hopefully there will be another man to come along and charm her, just as much as Mick charms everybody. I worked with Danny on a film called Run For Your Wife years ago, and we hit it off. He's a good friend so I'm lucky to be working with him - and everybody here, actually."

Talking about a Slater family reunion, she explained: "I was still in Holby City when my agent said EastEnders would like me to read for the part of Kat's sister. I thought there was no way I'd get it, but I did and I've been here for a while now.

"It would be great if all the other Slater girls came back too - I'd love them on the Square again."

Samantha Mitchell has not made the best decisions in life, this time she really takes the biscuit! Next week, she will contemplate abandoning her son in Walford and return to Portugal.

Sam returns for her mothers funeral and surprises Jack. After his initial shock, Jack asks Sam if he can meet his son. It seems little Richard (Ricky) is not that keen on his father, so Jack hatches a plan.

After the funeral, Sam heads off to the wake and gets drunk, Phil is becoming more and more fed up with his sister. Phil has a go at Sam causing her to storm out, Ben soon tells Phil the real reason for her behaviour.

Roxy later sees Sam with her suitcases, she invites her to open up about what's really bothering her. Sam tells her that she is struggling being a mother, she says she is going back to Portugal, without her son.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, July 4 at 8pm, Tuesday, July 5 at 7.30pm and Friday, July 8 at 8pm on BBC One.

Gogglebox AXED EastEnders Reaction, Here's Why

Sunday, 26 June 2016

In the week we all wept as Peggy Mitchell took her own life, fans of Gogglebox were shocked to see no reaction on the episode. Apparently Gogglebox's editing team decided to cut it from the show, saying their reactions were just too distressing.

Lynne McGarry (pictured above) who appears alongside her husband Pete and son George, explained the episode conjured up some bad memories.

"Pete broke down because he thought of how him and his brother felt when they lost their mum," McGarry told the Daily Star.

"He said to me, 'When that happens you don't want to accept it. You want to hold on for as long as you can. You don't want to let them go.'

"The producers said it was too sad to show. The families all showed their emotions so much because it reminded them of losing someone," she continued.

"All three of us were sitting there and one by one we broke down."

Peggy's funeral is set to cause more tears in upcoming episodes when Peggy is laid to rest. EastEnders is back at 8pm on BBC One Monday. Gogglebox airs Friday night's on Channel 4.

Walford Says Goodbye - Pictures

Peggy Mitchell is finally laid to rest, her loved ones give her a send off she deserves. The Mitchell's had been waiting weeks for her body to be released, before they could make arrangements.

The day of the funeral arrives, Sam returns from Portugal and she has a surprise, Grant will not be coming. Sharon is left worrying for Phil as he struggles through the day.

Gavin's sister Margaret also arrives back in Walford, telling Sharon that she is concerned over her brothers behaviour. Sharon refuses to listen as she has to put all her effort into today.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, July 4 at 8pm on BBC One.

EastEnders Fans Baffled?!

Saturday, 25 June 2016

Fans have been left baffled about one of the soaps biggest storylines this year. Peggy Mitchell died on screen over a month ago, apparently you are all wondering where the funeral is?

It wasn't until Thursday night's episode showed the Mitchell family planning Peggy's funeral, that fans started asking questions.

So, here's what we think: When it comes to pretty much all suicides, a Coroner's postmortem examination is carried out. It is this persons job to make sure that there was no foul play involved.

In many cases, this can be in as little as a day. If someone has died unnaturally, the coroner may wish to hold an inquest before a death certificate is granted.  Yes 5/6 weeks seems a little long, but it is soap land and for all we know, it may all be explained before Peggy's big send off.

EastEnders Amy Drugs Scare?

Friday, 24 June 2016

With Jay begging for Roxy to help him with his money troubles, Roxy is completely unaware that Amy and her bunny are playing in her bedroom. The same room where she has £10,000 worth of cocaine hiding in her wardrobe.

Slowly but surely, Roxy has been making progress in getting her life back on track. With Jay hitting brick walls wherever he turns, he feels that selling the cocaine is his only option.

Roxy entered her bedroom to find that Amy had been through her things. Most importantly, the bag that contains the drugs has been touched. White powder was seen dotted around the room. Fans have been left wondering if Amy or the rabbit has the powder.

We will have to wait until Monday to find out if Amy is in any danger.
