Two Massive New Year's Eve Deaths! - Spoilers

Sunday, 25 September 2016

It has been reported today that Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell will be killed off on New Year's Eve. The Sun have leaked the story, saying the pair will meet an explosive end to their time on the soap.

DigitalSpy asked EastEnders for a comment, they did not deny the storyline saying:
"We know how much our audience hate to have any future storylines spoilt so we will not comment on speculative stories,".

Could Carl White's family finish the pair off? Is Andy about to return to finish what he started? Who knows!

Personally on one hand, we hope this doesn't happen. Ronnie and Roxy should be able to return to Walford at a later date, although the possibility of a nail-biting storyline with these two is almost too good to pass up!

Have they reached the end of their time on the soap? Sometimes characters have a shelf life, there is no more that can be done with them. We will of course update with any new developments. Vote below if you think the pair should be killed off.

EastEnders - A Change Is Coming!

Thursday, 22 September 2016

With EastEnders starting to show cracks in certain areas, try not to panic as it's not the first time. When a new executive producer takes over, like many other soaps, the storylines sometimes struggle.

We have now approached the time on-screen with the episodes now airing under the new executive producer, Sean O'Connor.

Although many of you are upset with the recent announcement of cast members leaving, the thing is, it's actually going in the right direction. Some of Sean's first scenes were actually heartwarming. You had Linda and Les, two characters that never really had any screen time together. We were also touched by some lovely scenes between Bex and Kamil, as well as Claudette and Pam.

We were also left with Pam accepting Les' cross-dressing as a duff-duff, instead of a dramatic ending. If a soap starts churning out dramatic plots, one after another, the soap then becomes very tacky, almost impossible to get the point across.

But with scenes like we have seen over the past week, Sean recognises that viewers need to fall back in love with the characters again.

Fans were left deflated recently with the anti-climax between Ronnie and Andy. This usually happens when the boss of a soap leaves, stories just fizzle out. Don't get me wrong, Dominic Treadwell-Collins was fantastic for the soap and made some excellent decisions.

C'mon, you remember back in the day when EastEnders was proper edge of your seat telly? Sean O'Connor is extremely successful and experienced when it comes to producing high quality, nail-biting drama. This is the guy that wrote the "You ain't my muvva!" storyline between Kat and Zoe, also the abuse storylines between Mo and Trevor. We personally feel good for the future of Britain's number one soap, EastEnders is certainly on the up.

When we revealed that Babe Smith will be leaving EastEnders, many of you were chuffed. It seems she is not going without causing some more trouble.

It was last month when Claudette outed Babe as the scumbag who was blackmailing the Coker's. You lot were fuming, especially when she seemed to get away with it. Well don't worry, it seems Babe will get her comeuppance.

Babe will be in for a shock soon when Mick orders her to pay back every penny to the Pam and Les.  He demands she does it soon or he will call the police. Hurrah!

So what's with this random picture of Abi? Well, she has to get the money from somewhere. That's right, Babe will try and get thousands from Abi, the young part-timer who lives with Dot. It seems Babe has a scam up her sleeve, one that will go too far.

We have also been told that although Babe is leaving, the door is well and truly open for her return.

Here We Go Again, Another Character Leaves EastEnders!

Sunday, 18 September 2016

Babe Smith played by Annette Badland is the latest character to get the chop. The past two months have seen quite a few actors leave or not have their contracts renewed.

This is happening around the same time that new executive producer took over, as well as the BBC being forced to make huge cutbacks, so it's unclear why the soap has so many departures.

Babe has appeared in EastEnders since January 2014 and has not been a favourite of viewers. With her scheming ways, we're pretty sure many of you will be happy to see the back of her.

EastEnders continues on Monday 8pm BBC One.

Buster is caught out over his affair with Kathy. After he fails to show up at the Vic, Mick asks Lee to go and find him. Lee returns telling his dad that he believes Buster is having an affair.
