Sunday, 29 January 2017

Despite the recent near-miss for Denise last week, it seems tension between the sisters is mounting, more than ever. The day before the accident, Kim told her sister that she was dead to her, leaving Denise shocked. After the accident, Kim told Denise that the bus crash was karma for giving up her son.

Kim decides to arrange a family dinner, to try and put the past behind them. She is furious when Denise declines her offer.

Will we see the Fox sisters patch things up? We're sure they will but there will be a lot of drama along the way.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday, February 2 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

EastEnders Reveals Max's Revenge Plot!

Thursday, 26 January 2017

We're not sure what the Carters have done to upset Max, or maybe because the pub is the hub of the community, but Max Branning seems to have the Queen Victoria very high up that list of his.

We knew Max was hiding something but it seems Jake Wood has returned with a very dark storyline in hand. He also seems to have a very wealthy sidekick, maybe the one pulling the strings?

Continues Below ↓

The new character played by Simon Williams, simply credited as the Chairman of Weyland & Co. Meeting Max in the Shard in central London, he said: "That's where I grew up over there. Deprived, depressed. Not many people got out of there, believe me. But look at it now. Brimming with potential. New housing, thriving businesses. Finally, it's a place where people aspire to live.
"The trouble is, too many people have a foot in the past. They can't see the big picture. From what I hear, you're going great guns."

"You're a man after my own heart, Max. Never let emotions get in the way of progress. So, what about the pub?"

Max then told him: "Well that's next on my list. Let it burn for all I care."

Speaking to Luisa Bradshaw-White at last night's NTA's, she said this years running story will be about the Carters and The Queen Vic. We can only imagine how this storyline will pan out!

Was Walford in need of a new baddie or two?

EastEnders returns Monday on BBC One

Carters Could Lose The Queen Vic!

They have been running the Queen Vic since Christmas 2013, but it sounds like the Carters could lose their beloved watering hole due to money problems.

Luisa Bradshaw-White and Ted Reilly, who play Tina and Johnny Carter, explained that money problems and Babe's constant law breaking when it comes to the licensing and food, makes the possibility of the Carters losing the pub very real.

Continues Below ↓

This next year for the Carter clan does not look good at all. When asked by Digital Spy if there is a possibility the family could lose the pub, Luisa said: "I think there is a danger – I think there is!

"It's a scary time – maybe we all lose the Queen Vic possibly, who knows? I'd be gutted."

"There's a few problems going on at the Vic," added Ted Reilly (Johnny Carter).

"I think it's going to be one of the running topics of this year – what's going to happen with the Queen Vic."

Over the next week, Mick will receive yet more bad news and we will see him struggle to keep the business on track.

Eastenders returns Thursday (January 26) on BBC One.

EastEnders: Time's Up, Babe!

Wednesday, 25 January 2017

We're pretty sure Babe is on her tenth warning, but Mick has finally had enough. It seems the wicked aunt is about to screw up again, and as of last week she was on her final warning.

With Mick struggling with raising enough money for Elaine, earnings take another hit when Babe starts upsetting customers, including Ian Beale.

Continues Below ↓

When Ian falls asleep at the bar, he is livid when Babe accuses him of being drunk, advising him to go home. This comes at a time when the Vic roof is in desperate need of a rather costly repair.

Mick also receives more bad news, something the story writers are not willing to give away just yet, on top of everything else, it looks like Mick is about to follow through with his promise and finally evict Babe.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday, February 2 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

No Train Crash + EastEnders Statement

Tuesday, 24 January 2017

Sharon Marshall confirmed on This Morning that there will be no Coronation Street style train crash in EastEnders: “No it’s not going to happen, it’s not going to be like Coronation Street.
“I know a lot of people are thinking ‘oh Linda (Shirley) was on the Tube, is that going to be involved?’… No it’s not going to be that.”

In response to the number of people commenting on social media about the similarities to the terrorist attack in Berlin, EastEnders released a statement to The Sun saying: “’EastEnders’ is a fictional drama and the crash in tonight’s episode was not based on any real-life event.
“We are always mindful of the content within our episodes.”
While the show did see a vehicle crash through the Square, the similarities end there, as it was a bus, not a lorry, that caused the carnage in the soap.

EastEnders returns tonight on BBC One

Mystery Fox Sister Appeared For Denise Fox's Funeral

Sunday, 22 January 2017

Many fans were convinced that a new character would be joining the soap, especially after Kim mentioned her sister Daphne.

When a soap normally does this, it is usually a set-up to an imminent arrival of a fresh new face. Many people would have forgotten that Daphne appeared in EastEnders way back in 2010!

Most of you will remember when Lucas locked Denise away and convinced everyone that she was dead. Daphne actually attended Denise's funeral, played by actress Emi Wokoma.

Here is the confusion Friday night's comment made on twitter:

I have to confess, I actually completely forgot about this character also, but a quick google revealed everything I just told you!

When it was revealed back in 2010 that Denise was alive, Daphne did not hang around. Would you like to see her return?

EastEnders Next Week

Saturday, 21 January 2017

We revealed last week that EastEnders will be hit by a disaster on Monday, an episode that will see an impressive cast list of 34, that's pretty much everyone except Sharon, Phil and Jane.

Although a picture released showed a bus crash, many fans have speculated that there may also be a train crash. The actual storyline has been kept under wraps and the following is what has been confirmed for EastEnders next week.

When the market traders hear a rumour that the market is relocating, Carmel confirms that the council is in the early stages of planning the move.

Martin decides to go on strike, something his fellow market traders are not willing to do. Not even Kush can be persuaded to join him. After a chat with Stacey, Martin heads back to the market to confront Carmel. In Tuesday's episode, Stacey receives alarming news about martin.

When Max returned at Christmas, he seemed to forgive everyone. He shook hands with Ian and Jane, mended bridges with his daughters and is standing firm with his brother Jack.

We recently see Max resorting to self harming outside the hospital over Christmas, he didn't even seem to bat an eyelid when his brother Jack laid into Danny Mitchell, more concerned in how much ketchup he was putting on his bacon sarnie! We have heard that we will see the new side of Max over the next week.

Kim will fly off the handle next week when she overhears her mother ask Vincent to change Kim's behaviour towards Denise. She resorts to throwing her mother out of the house, telling her she should go and live with Denise.

Here's the rumour, usually when siblings fall out in a soap, they need something dramatic to happen to make them realise what they could lose. Could Denise be injured.trapped in the crash? It certainly would make Kim realise how much she would actually miss her sister.

Both Babe and Lee are about to depart EastEnders, could it be next week? Babe Smith is one of the most disliked characters in the soaps history. Danny-Boy who plays Lee is brilliantly portraying a young man battling depression, could he have involvement in the disaster?

We do know that Mick Carter will be left gobsmacked. The disaster will span over three episodes next week, starting on Monday at 8pm on BBC One and continuing on Tuesday and Thursday.

There is no episode on Friday 27th January due to football coverage.
