Stacey Returns As Things Turn Nasty

EastEnders, BBC One

The relationship between Stacey and Martin Fowler will take a turn next week when an awkward situation presents itself.

Stacey left Walford after she confessed to sleeping with Max Branning, something Martin struggled to get his head around.

After listening to advice with Ted Murray, Stacey decides to go home to Martin, but instead of welcoming her with open arms, Martin accuses her of staying with Max during her disappearing act.

It's not long before an almighty argument ensues and Martin crosses the line, this leads to Stacey slapping him across the face.

As the argument escalates, Martin throws Stacey out of the house, exposing her fling with Max to the local residents.

Martin tells her that she's not having the children or the house. Left outside alone, Sonia decides to get involved on Stacey's behalf.

As the situation worsens, one of the children is put in harm's way, leaving Martin left to evaluate the situation. He decides to let Stacey see the children, but it's not long before the pair are arguing again.

Martin then reveals that he's going to fight for custody of the children, much to the disapproval of ex-wife Sonia.
