EastEnders' Letitia Dean Talks Return to Queen Vic

Viewers were thrilled to see Sharon become the new landlady of the Queen Victoria pub, something that should come naturally to her . . .

EastEnders ended with an almighty cliffhanger last week when the soap went on a break until later this year. Viewers were thrilled to see Sharon become the new landlady of the Queen Victoria pub, something that should come naturally to her, but actor Letitia Dean has revealed her anxieties about returning to the other side of the bar.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Letitia Dean revealed: “I’m excited – and a bit nervous!” - “I haven’t been behind the bar for quite some time now, so it’ll feel like coming home. It’s just going to feel lovely again.

“There will be that spotlight on whoever runs the pub, so you’re always going to have a bit of anxiety,” she adds. “Hopefully I can still pull a pint [laughs]!”

Letitia continued: “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen some of the old clips. Watching us all from the old days was quite touching. And to see [young] little Adam on screen, I forgot how cute and lovely he was!”

Are you looking forward to seeing Sharon back in the Vic later this year? - You will get a glimpse of the action to come when EastEnders shows one of Letitia's most iconic episodes next week as Sharongate airs on BBC One on Tuesday.
